Simon ANDRÉ

Version française

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the WWU Münster in Germany (since September 2021). From August 2019 to August 2021, I was a postdoc at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, USA. I did my graduate studies at the University of Rennes 1 in France, under the supervision of Vincent Guirardel, from September 2016 to July 2019.

Research interests

My research concerns (geometric) group theory and model theory. I am particularly interested in hyperbolic groups in the sense of Gromov and their generalizations (such as acylindrically hyperbolic groups), and their logical properties. More recently, I have started working on multiply transitive group actions.
