My Curriculum vitae in english.

For my second year of master studies at Université de Rennes, I followed courses on these subjects:

  • Data Mining and Visualization introducing important problems and historical algorithms in data mining.
  • Graph data processing introducing random graph models, their property and important characteristics and clustering techniques linked to graph spectral analysis.
  • Analysis and Probabilistic Modelling of data introducing statistical tools and stochastic models to represent and model data and the corresponding algorithms to build these models.
  • Supervised Machine Learning introducing important concepts, problems and models in supervised machine learning and presenting the library scikit-learn.
  • High dimensional learning presenting the PAC framework through proof of theoretical guarantees provided by some dimension reduction algorithms.
  • Deep learning for vision presenting an history of classical vision techniques and the architectures and characteristics of the deep networks now replacing these techniques.
  • Vocal and audio interactions introducting some important problems and techniques for audio signal processing and speech processing and advances in this field related to neural networks.

During my semester at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne I attended the following courses:
  • Computational Molecular Biology taught by Bernard Moret and introducing computational problems arising in phyllogeny and genomics and algorithmics methods to deal with it.
  • Computational Motor Control taught by Auke Ijspeert and dealing with biologically inspired design of robotic controllers. As a project I designed a controller for a simulated walking walking and swimming robot salamander inspired by real salamander neural system.
  • Evolutionnary Robotics taught by Dario Floreano and dealing with the design of robot morphologies and controllers by evolutionnary algorithms. As a project I developped a robot body and controller in simulation then built with modular hardware.
