I am a thrid year PhD student at the Institut de Mathématiques de Marseille under the supervision of Pascal Hubert and Olga Paris-Romaskevich. I am interested in interval exchange transformations with or without flips, in connection with the Teichmüller flow in the moduli space of translation and half-translation surfaces. These objects are particularly relevant to study the tiling billiards dynamics and are linked to Novikov’s conjecture on behavior of plane sections of triply periodic surfaces in the euclidian 3 dimensional space.
