My main interests are in algebraic combinatorics, representation theory and knot theory. For my PhD, I am focusing on quantum deformations of real numbers, which are combinatorial objects defined recently by Morier-Genoud and Ovsienko. They connect many different mathematical fields such as type A cluster algebras, hyperbolic geometry in dimnesion 2, braid groups representations, friezes patterns and Diophantine approximation via Markov numbers. The aim of my current research is to combine tools of these various fields to answer questions about q-real numbers, and conversely to use the efficient combinatorics of q-real numbers to understand better these fields.
